Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses Thimble Royal Doulton
This is a thimble by Royal Doulton of England, produced in 1980 for the Franklin Mint Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses set of 25 thimbles. (Also known as the Porcelain Houses of the World set).
The thimble is decorated with a thick gilded line around the base and Pink Roses and Rosebuds, with a pattern of green lines and dots around the top. The inside of the thimble is stamped with a Lion above a crown with "Royal Doulton Fine Bone China Made In England" printed below. The thimble is approximately 27mm tall by 22mm base diameter.
The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
