Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses Thimble Noritake Japan
This is a thimble by the Noritake company of Japan, produced in 1980 for the Franklin Mint Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses set of 25 thimbles. (Also known as the Porcelain Houses of the World set).
The thimble is made from bone china and is decorated with a gilded band around the base and consists of white vertical ridges all around with a dimpled top. The inside of the thimble is stamped with a letter "N" inside a Laurel Wreath with "Noritake Studio Collection" around it, and "Japan Bone China" below. The thimble is approximately 27mm tall by 24mm base diameter.
The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
