Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses Thimble Johnson Bros

This is an Ironstone thimble by Johnson Brothers of England, produced in 1980 for the Franklin Mint Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses set of 25 thimbles. (Also known as the Porcelain Houses of the World set).

The thimble is made from creamy Ironstone china, and is decorated with a thick gilded line around the base and two pictures of mauve and yellow flowers. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "JB Johnson Brothers Made In England Ironstone", and it is approximately 25mm tall by 21mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
