Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses Thimble By Crown Staffs Of England

This is a thimble by Crown Staffs of England, produced in 1980 for the Franklin Mint Worlds Greatest Porcelain Houses set of 25 thimbles. (Also known as the Porcelain Houses of the World set).

The thimble is decorated with a gilded line around the base and a picture of a basket of fruit, there is lovely detail on the black grapes. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Crown Staffs England Fruit Basket". The thimble is approximately 28mm tall by 23mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
