Steel Thimble Dimpled Design Size 8 Taiwan

This is a steel thimble with a rolled rim, a plain band above this with "8" and "Taiwan" stamped on it, and a traditional dimpled design on the remainder. There are no makers marks on the thimble which is approximately 17mm tall by 19mm base diameter.

The thimble is in very good condition, with no holes, chips or repairs, although the base is out of the round. The thimble is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
