Rustic Castle China Thimble Longton Hall England TCC

This is a Rustic Castle thimble in the style of Longton Hall of England, which was produced for the Thimble Collectors Club in July 1986. The thimble is decorated with a thick gilded band around the base and pictures of a cstle in a rural setting. The top of the thimble forms an unusual leaf shape. Thimbles made for the Thimble Collectors Club in the style of Longton Hall, were actually made by Sutherland of England. The inside is stamped "Longton Hall England". The thimble is approximately 23mm tall by 21mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
