Rose Garden China Thimble by Westbury Studio Wales TCC

This is a Rose Garden Thimble by Westbury Studios of Wales for the Thimble Collectors Club in June 1993. The thimble is decorated around the bottom with a gilded line. The front of the thimble is decorated with a panel containing a lady sitting in front of a country cottage with roses around the door and window. The panel is bordered by a gilded line. To the left and right of this panel there are columns of red roses. The back is decorated with a panel bordered with a gilded line containg a verse by William Morris in gilded writing. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Westbury Studios Made in Wales", below the letter "W" and is approximately 23mm tall by 20mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no marks, chips or blemishes. The thimble is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
