Prince William Thimble 1st Birthday 1983 SMALL CHIP

This is a fine bone china thimble by Fenton to commemorate the 1st birthday of Prince William. The thimble has been decorated with a gilded line around the base, a picture of the baby prince on the front and "HRH Prince William of Wales To Commemorate his 1st Birthday 21st June 1983". The inside is stamped with a picture of a crown with "English Bone China Fenton China Company" around it, and it is approximately 27mm tall by 22mm base diameter.

The thimble is in very good condition, with no holes or repairs, although there is a tiny chip below the glaze and the gilding to the right of the printing, which can be seen in the 2nd photo. It is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
