Prince William (1689) Thimble Fenton China Company
This is a bone china thimble decorated with a gilded line around the base and "Prince William (1689)" printed below a picture of the Prince. The reverse is printed with "Mary, a daughter of James II, was married to Prince William of Holland". The inside of the thimble is stamped with a crown with "English Bone China Fenton China Company" printed around it, and it is approximately 30mm tall by 22mm base diameter. This was probably made at some point during the 1980s or 1990s.
The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
