Oakley Fine Bone China Thimble Two Chicks Young Birds

This is a fine bone china thimble which was part of a set of 24 "Friends of Field and Forest" by Dick Twiney, which was produced for the Thimble Collectors Club in 1992.

The thimble has been decorated with a gilded line around the base and a picture of two brown and beige young birds and yellow flowers. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Oakley China Fine Bone China Made In England", and it is approximately 28mm tall by 23mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
