Memories of Spring Thimble Longton Hall England Flowers

This is a Memories of Spring Thimble in the style of Longton Hall of England, by Sutherland China, which was produced for the Thimble Collectors Club. The thimble is decorated with a hand painted 22 carat gold line around the base, it is octagonal in shape and features two delicate pink and white spring flowers which are highlighted with raised white enamel dots, and is signed with the gilded initials "M E". The inside of the thimble is stamped with two crossed letter "L's", the symbol of Longton Hall, and "Longton Hall England", and it is approximately 25mm tall by 20mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
