Lord Nelson & HMS Victory Thimbles
This is a pair of bone china thimbles each decorated with a thick gilded line around the base. One has a picture of Admiral Lord Nelson with "Admiral Lord Nelson Born Norfolk 1758 Died At Trafalgar 1805" printed opposite. The other has a picture of a ship with "H.M.S. Victory Nelson's Flagship" printed opposite. The inside of both thimbles is stamped with a picture of a green tree with "Forest China Company Bone China Made In England" printed around it. Both thimbles are approximately 27mm tall by 22mm base diameter.
The thimbles are in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, they are not in the original box, but will be supplied in clear perspex thimble domes which are suitable for storage or display. Each thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
