Lady Elizabeth Bowes Lyon Aged 7 Bone China Thimble

This is a bone china thimble decorated with a gilded line around the base and a picture of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother at the age of 7 with "Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon Aged Seven Taken At Glamis Castle" printed opposite. This was one of a series of Royalty thimbles probably made in the 1980s or 1990s. The inside of the thimble is stamped with a picture of a Knight holding a sword and shield with "St George Fine Bone China Made In England" printed below it, and it is approximately 28mm tall by 23mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
