King Edward VIII Thimble Bone China Made In England

This is a fine bone china thimble decorated with a gilded line around the base and a picture of King Edward VIII. "H.M. Edward VIII" is printed on the reverse. The inside of the thimble is stamped with a picture of a crown with "Bone China Made In England" printed below it, and it is approximately 28mm tall by 23mm base diameter. This is one of a sries of thimbles probably made in the 1980s or 1990s.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
