Ireland & Shamrocks Thimble Liffey Artefacts Souvenir

This is a china thimble decorated with a gilded line around the base, green Shamrock leaves, and "Ireland" printed on a green banner. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Liffey Artefacts Souvenir of Ireland", and it is approximately 27mm tall by 23mm base diameter.

The thimble is in very good condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, although there is an incised irregular oval shpe measuring approximately 5mm by 4mm, on the reverse of the thimble just above the gilded line, which appears to be below the glaze. It is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
