Hadrians Wall Souvenir Thimble Birchcroft Bone China

This is a fine bone china thimble which has a peephole looking through to a picture of a Roman Soldier. The thimble has been decorated round the peephole with a picture of a wall with "Hadrian's Wall" printed below. The reverse of the thimble is stamped with "Birchcroft Fine Bone China" around a picture of a tree, and it is approximately 29mm tall by 24mm base diameter.

The thimble is in very good condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, although it is not quite straight. It is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
