Floral Lustre China Thimble Rockingham of England TCC

This is a Floral Lustre China Thimble which was produced in homage to Rockingham of England for the Thimble Collectors Club by Sutherland China of England. The thimble is decorated with a gilded line around the base, and another around the top. The background of the thimble is an iridescent dark blue and the front has been decorated with flowers in white and gold. There is a glass crystal inset into the top, and the inside is stamped with "Rockingham England" below a picture of a mythical winged creature, and it is approximately 26mm tall by 20mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
