Falklands Islands Liberation Fine Bone China Thimble

This is a fine bone china thimble produced to commemorate the liberation of the Falkland Islands from Argentinian occupation in 1982. The thimble is decorated with a gilded line around the base and a picture of the Falkland Islands on a Union Jack with "The Falkland Islands" above, and "1982" below. The reverse is printed with two flags and some detail about the liberation. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Fine Bone China Made In England", and it is approximately 28mm tall by 23mm base diameter.

The thimble is in very good condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, although it is not quite round at the base. It is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
