Doves Thimble by Vohenstrauss of Germany

This is a Doves Thimble by Vohenstrauss of Germany produced for the Thimble Collectors Club in August 1991. The thimble is decorated around the top and bottom with a gilded pattern, and there are two decorated panels on the thimble, each outlined with a gilded line. One panel shows a dove in flight holding an olive branch and the other panel shows two doves sitting on a bird bath. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Johann Feltmann Vohenstrass West Germany", and it is approximately 25mm tall by 21mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
