Courting Couple Ceramic Thimble 18th Century Costume

This is a bone china thimble decorated with gilded lines around the top and base and a picture of a courting couple, who are wearing 18th century style dress. There are no makers marks on the thimble which is approximately 27mm tall by 23mm base diameter.

The thimble is in very good condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, although it is not quite round at the base. It is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
