Cobalt Glaze & Gilded Thimble Queen Mother 90 Years Old Thimblecraft By Shirley

This is an English Porcelain thimble which is dark blue in colour with a gilded silhouette picture of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, with "Queen Mother 1900 - 1990" printed in gilding, between two gilded lines. There is another gilded line around the top, and "90th Birthday 4th August" is printed in gold on the reverse. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "English Porcelain" above a crown with "Thimblecraft By Shirley" below, and it is approximately 27mm tall by 21mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
