Cho-Kin Irises Thimble by Kiyomasa of Japan TCC

This is a Cho-Kin (Irises) Thimble by Kiyomasa of Japan produced for the Thimble Collectors Club in November 1988. The thimble is decorated by a gilded line around the base and top. The main body of the thimble depicts beautiful red, orange and yellow Irises which have been highlighted with more gilding. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Chokin" two Japanese characters and "Kiyomasa Japan". The thimble is approximately 27mm tall by 20mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
