Caverswall Threatened Species China Thimble Young Seal

This is a china thimble which is one of Caverswall's Threatened Species series. It has been decorated with a gilded line around the base and a picture of a baby Seal with "Young Seal" printed to the right of the signature of the artisit, W R Tipton. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Caverswall England", in black capitals and "Threatened Species", and it is approximately 25mm tall by 20mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
