Caverswall Thimble Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee 25

This is a fine bone china thimble produced to comemmorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee. It has been decorated with a thick gilded line around the base and a picture of a crown finished with hand enamelled dots, with "1952" on one side, and "1977" on the other side with the signature "M. Grant". The reverse has "ER" with a smaller "II" between the two letters. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Caverswall England" all in black capitals inside an ornate circle, and it is approximately 25mm tall by 20mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
