Brass Lined Steel Thimble Size 2 Dimpled Pattern

This is a brass lined steel thimble, which has a rolled brass rim with a plain steel band above this, with the size mark "2" stamped on it. The rest of the thimble is decorated with a traditional dimpled design. There are no makers marks on the thimble which is approximately 24mm tall by 19mm base diameter.

The thimble is in good condition, with no holes, chips or repairs, although there is some oxidisation of the steel. It is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
