Blue Tits China Thimble by Renaissance of England

This is a Blue Tits China Thimble by Renaissance of England which was produced for the Thimble Collectors Club in March 1988. The thimble is decorated with a gilded line around the base and features two young Blue Tits sitting on a branch between blossom. The thimble is signed with the name M J Pledger, who is Maurice Pledger a wildlife artist who painted the original. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Renaissance Fine Bone China Made in England", and is approximately 25mm tall by 22mm base diameter.

The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display. The thimble dome is approximately 32mm wide and 48mm high.
